Known and proven in Scandinavia, but given the design, hull shape and layout also extremely suitable for sailing throughout the Netherlands! With good sailing characteristics, a sheltered cockpit and steering position and a very low creep height, this yacht offers the possibility to explore the coast as well as small waters. Several models of this type and her predecessor have been delivered, but this one is probably unique in the Netherlands. The first owner sailed this yacht on her own keel from Finland to the Netherlands and is currently owned by the second owner.
GENERALOther: The Flying Albatross has a very effective hull shape, with flat underwater hull and long continuous keel, for also sailing well at higher speeds. The boxy keel houses water tank, diesel tank and engine foundation, for a low center of gravity. The yacht received new antifouling and new impeller in July 2024. Service in winter 2023/2024.
