Beautiful classic, Heard 28. beautifully refurbished in recent years.<br><br>At the western tip of Cornwall, the Fal river flows into a bay where workboats have been built since time immemorial. A law of 1868 saved the oysters from the region around Truro from extinction. The relatively small, gaffe witnessed ships from the mouth of the Fal were then, to this day, granted the exclusive fishing rights. Out of the large variety of fishing cutters that were used for catching a GRP yacht was built in the 70's of the last century by Terry Heard. Designer Percy Dalton designed for Terry Heard in Mylor Creek a 23 and 28 foot version with the workboat features. Spectacular competitions are held annually on the south coast. An impressive sight. The brightly coloured topsails steal the show. This Heard has: radio/CD-player/I-pod, GPS + mouse + GPS navigator, autopilot, compass, inverter, marine radio, AIS-IS, AIRMAR skin transit temperature sensor, voltmeter, battery charger, inverter/controller, water pressure pump, 2-burner stove + oven, moptor from 1995 with renewed Python Drive homokinetic coupling, fixed propeller shaft and 2-blade propeller, new toilet, 2 x solar panels, 3x battery, lightweight blanket.
