well maintained cruiser with many upgradings.The Contest 38 S Ketch in Zadar Croatia is a very seaworthy yacht. The boat that we offer is in great condition and the current owner had major refits carried out in recent years since he bought it from 2019-2021.Firstly it is important to say that the previous owner took good care of the boat and has done many refits firstly such as a new teak deck was laid in 2011, the hull professionally painted.
The current owner has taken the boat to a shipyard and has done an extensive refit on the boat that lasted from 2019 through 2020. The upgrades have been vast from

The boat is ketch rigged which has the great advantage that one can reef in smaller steps and the clotch is much easier to handle than a larger sail. The sails were renewed (see specs). In the cockpit you find good shelter behind the fixed windows. Setting and reefing sail is done at the mast. The interior is beautifully finished with mahogany and has a nice nautical atmosphere. It is striking how tidy the boat still is, even after many years of sailing. Upon entering the galley is left. Right is the navigation table with the necessary equipment. Amidships is the salon with sofas around, and a large folding table in the middle. The cushions are of good quality. Both in the bow and in the aft are doubles. For the main bulkhead left the toilet, and left large closets.  The Contest 38 S is a suitable yacht for long stay on board and blue water cruising. The boat that we offer is fully ready to go.
