Seaworthy, timeless and very well maintained center cockpit cruiser built by Najadvarvet AB on Sweden's boatbuilder island Orust. Deep, protected center cockpit with high coaming and fixed windscreen with lateral handrails. Wide running decks with raised coaming allow safe movement on deck. Despite the NAJAD 400's modern judel/vrolijk [&] co. design, she comes with the traditional, reliable underwater ship with deep bilge, skeg in front of the rudder blade and shaft drive. Her satin varnished mahogany interior is a beautiful testament of the exquisite Scandinavian boatbuilder's tradition. 2-cabin layout with owner's cabin aft across the entire beam of the yacht and large longitudinal galley with ample storage space in passage to aft cabin to port.
Special layout features of this NAJAD 400 are the central island berth in the owner's cabin and the separate shower cabin in the foredeck on the port side. The technically adept owner has equipped the yacht for long journeys: Watermaker, wind generator, removable cutter stay, an enlarged battery bank and davits with an almost new dinghy including outboard are on board. The underwater hull is treated with Coppercoat and the paint was renewed in 2021. The yacht has been in first-hand ownership since her first launch in 2004, was sailed exclusively in Northern Europe until 2018 and was in indoor storage every winter until then. The NAJAD 400 is now being offered for personal reasons and will be available in spring 2025. The berth in southern Spain is booked until November 2025 and can be taken over by the buyer.
